INTRODUCTION

Every customer is unique, and so are our customized products. The best part of my day is receiving a message from a customer who just received their order, saying “wowww I loved it” or “that’s beyond amazing.” These messages make up my entire day, especially after a long day.

It all began with a gift – three matching abayas for me, my mom, and my daughter. Since then, I’ve been on a quest for something special, comfortable, and versatile enough to be worn with any outfit. Thus, the idea of starting an abaya business took root. In the beginning, I was hesitant about where to start or who my target market would be. However, with determination, I took solid steps forward, gradually gaining courage by participating in bazaars.

While the abaya trend was booming, I didn’t want to limit myself. I decided to diversify my offerings. I purchased a machine and began creating sublimation on bag straps. Despite my below-average art skills, I persisted, experimenting until I got it right. The journey wasn’t without its challenges – I ruined at least 15 bag straps in the process. But it was all worth the effort.

My very first bazaar in October 2023 was a hit. My bag straps and abayas were selling out fast. Encouraged by this success, I continued to challenge myself, expanding my product range to include eyeglasses covers, coffee cup holders, prayer sets, and much more.

A year and a half later, I am grateful for every seed I planted, for every customer who supported me, and for my family, without whom I wouldn’t be where I am today. In conclusion, anyone can dream, but not everyone can take action towards their dreams.

There’s always struggles when you are starting new business . Its like a building you have to put every piece of it together and make sure all pieces are coherent to get the final result. Meeting new customers and creating business is always challenging especially when you are operating online . Sometimes you see the product and you like it when you get it its different from what you expected and vise versa.

I love calligraphy specifically arabic calligraphy letters and styles are whole different art. I love to make special pieces for every customer i create the pieces personally and reach out to every client to make sure its what they wanted. My imagination is wide and i always think outside the box but my art skills are below average thats why i didnt choose something that requires me to draw.
